Isabel de la Luz came to the field of solving cold cases through the use of genetic genealogy naturally when the use of DNA to identify unknown persons impacted her on a very personal level.
She holds a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. Isabel is passionate about weaving her unique skills and interests together to help bring closure to the families of violent crime victims and the unidentified, otherwise known as John and Jane Does.
In her role as President of Genealogy for Justice™ (G4J), de la Luz leads all fundraising campaigns and advocacy activities for survivors.
